At Bath and North East Somerset Doctors Urgent Care (BDUC) we are the provider of an integrated Urgent Care service for Bath, Keynsham & District, Midsomer Norton, Radstock & Chew Valley.
If you think you need Urgent Care in the first instance call your GP. If your GP Practice is closed then call 111 and you will be directed to the most appropriate service for your need. In an emergency always call 999. If you’ve called 111 you will be assessed by a team of highly trained call advisors and clinicians. Depending on your condition you could be directed to an appointment at an Urgent Care Centre, receive a home visit from an Out of Hours GP or one of any number of other outcomes based on your telephone assessment.
As part of the integrated model of care we operate an Urgent Care Centre at the front of the Royal United Hospital Emergency Department, we provide GP Out of Hours cover for the whole of Bath and North East Somerset and medical cover to Paulton Memorial Hospital and St Martin’s Hospital.
We also operate a Homeless Healthcare Service at Julian House Hostel in Bath.
Bath and North East Somerset Doctors Urgent Care Limited is a private limited company. Company registration number: 08801907.
BDUC is part of the Vocare group, which began in 1996 in the North East of England as a co-operative of local GPs providing healthcare to local people.
